The BTR 23 was developed for Brian Thomas Ray (Paul McCartney and The Bayonets) who's request was to take everything he loved about the RSA 23 and make it more suitable for on-stage applications. Like the RSA series, The BTR 23 offers a complete sonic experience in British amplification but has had some practical modifications including a push/pull volume dial that offers additional gain on tap, and a transparent and highly effective master volume, enabling the spectacular definition the RSA 23 was famed for, at any volume.
